I purchased these to use while airsofting. So far I've used them for three full days of play and they're fantastic. They're very comfortable and I almost forget that I'm even wearing them. They do a great job of protecting my knees and pants while kneeling on hard, uneven, and wet surfaces. They have never fallen or slid down my legs, not even once. The other reviewers who say they slide down must not have them tightened enough, although I've only worn them with pants, and not on my bare skin. I also think the complaints about the straps hooking into the same side on both pads are overblown. It doesn't affect the fit, comfort, or general usage of the knee pads. My knees are far enough apart that they do not collide with each other, and I assume that goes for most people as well. I can't speak to their durability from daily use, since I only use them for a few hours at a time on sporadic occasions. But the materials look and feel great and I have no doubt this pair will last me for years.

Works great for football photography
Been using the same pair for over 8 years. They are comfortable, allow leg flexibility, and light weight. Does the job for American football photography.

Best knee pads you can buy under $200
I bought these (and the matching elbow pads) for airsoft. I Was hesitant about these at first but after using them a few times I can definitively say these are awesome! Most knee pads either fall off when running or cut your circulation off. These stay in place and don't have to be too tight to do so. My only problem is they sent me two right knee pads and two right elbow pads. No left. If your wearing them for work or skateboarding that's not really a problem bc it doesn't matter what side the excess strap sticks out on. In airsoft (or combat) you don't want excess slack hanging on the outside of your body. I fixed this by wearing the Left ones upside down. Still serves its purpose. I've had multiple people ask me where I got mine after they saw them. For airsoft (at least) these are just about the best you can get without spending $200.

Sturdy, nice design
These just fit a large guy weighing about 280 or so with short, thick legs. He's kinda hard to buy for, being decently tall - 5'11" - with short thick legs. I was very happy that these fit, although if they had been just a tad smaller, I'd have had to look elsewhere. These are a nice design that will greatly reduce the stress of kneeling to work on things. Very happy with the fit and quality of this purchase.

Just what I was looking for!
I have searched high and low for a set of knee pads that would fit my knees (female, normal size-not a HUGE workman!) that would stay put while doing exercises that require being on my knees. I have purchased three other sets to no avail, but THIS ONE WORKS FOR ME!! True, the pads are not filled with gel nor do they have ridges on the outside to keep from slipping, but they are sufficiently well padded on the inside to provide comfort for the hour or so I'm doing my workout. Equally important to me is that they stay put! Even when wearing slippery leggings or workout shorts, the straps on this set are designed so that they allow the knee to move independent of the pad. I don't know if that will make sense, but the upper and lower fastening straps are not a molded part of the pad itself. They are separate from the pads. So the knees can bend without pulling the pads downward with every move. Oh, and the space for the knee cap itself is the perfect size for female or adolescent. I understand if you are a 300 pound man, you might not like these. They would be too small. But perfect for me. Love them!!!

The best cost/performance value I found yet.
Fitment and comfort are my main concerns, with longevity of the elastic straps coming right behind it. With this kneepad, all of my concerns were met with satisfaction. Comfortable to wear, stays in place when the straps are adjusted correctly even when climbing ladders or when constantly kneeling on the job. The straps have kept its elasticity after daily use for two and half months so far, which is longer than other kneepads that have come and gone from my kit. Could use a bit more padding when kneeling all day becomes necessary, but it's something that I got used to after a couple of hard days at work.

Not a bad value, but not for everyday use.
While they’re a good value, they are still a price-point pair of knee pads. I wouldn’t recommend them for daily use, as the elastic and the clips are not heavy duty. Do they do the job? Yes. You can spend a couple of hours working on equipment, laying carpet, or whatever you need the knee protection for. Comfortable? Properly adjusted, not too bad, but a bit awkward. Stay in place? They will still work their way out of position, and the elastic stretches quickly. Durable? They are probably good for light and occasional use, but not up to the task for daily use.

These work
Don’t slide because of the tactile rubber strip. This is with my plate carrier and the rest of my FREEDOM KIT tucked away for that day.

Stra consigliate!!!!

Best knee pads on the market!
These are absolutely top drawer. Well made and extremely comfortable. The simple 'loc' system apso ensures that your trousers dont ride up behind the pad which had been a big problem for me with a couple of the other knee pads I'd bought in the past. Great product!

Work well
Bought these for my son, he's in the army. He says they are comfortable and do exactly what he needs them to do when out on manoeuvres.
