I'm a size 12 (rectangular shape - 36D, 31, 34.5) I went for the L as I figured with the corset front I could always pull it in but it's ridiculously oversized, definitely would have got a M or maybe even a S. The material has loads of stretch in it. I'm tall 5'9 and found the sleeves very long and flappy

Great for a range of dress up occasions
Given the price this is a well made, good quality costume, the materials used are better than expected. This dress is very comfortable to wear with no itchy materials. I am 5ft 6" and depending on the brand wear a UK12/14 and I decided to order this Renaissance dress in a large. I found the sizing to be quite generous and I could probably have got away with a medium. Due to the lace fastening on the front this isn’t an issue as I can tighten or loosen the dress as required. The length is good coming to my ankles meaning I can wear either heels or boots depending on occasion. The style and colour is perfect for multiple dress up occasions depending on what accessories etc are used.
