Absolutely beautiful dress, can be a bit tight in the upper regions.
The dress is really very beautiful. I had ordered size L, but had not considered that the bodice and upper arms are quite tight if you are not so thin in these regions. I was in two minds to swap it for a bigger size, but after trying it on again, it did fit, but it gives me a very good reason to keep up with the slimming so it will look less tight than it does now. Can't wait to wear it and show it off!

Excellent value, really good quality, actually comfortable.
I was surprised at how good this dress looks, actually. For the price I assumed it was a bait-and-switch seller image, but it does really look that nice. It's got good quality velvety fabric that's thicker than the average costume, and the stitching is nice. The sleeves are not going to unravel if you wave your arms around, the detail embroidery isn't going to come undone, and there are no flyaway threads hanging off the edges. Okay, my expectations were abysmally low, but this does not look like a £26 costume. I'd say it's excellent value. It's true to size, but it's also a tall dress, so you may need to bring up the hem. I had to remove a good few inches to get it off the floor, though I'm 5'3", and it's always better to have more length for the people who are taller. I'm not really that keen on the bright yellow lace, so I'll probably replace it with a more muted gold ribbon, but otherwise, for £26, it's looks great and it's great quality. I was expecting more costume-out-a-bag, but this is a wearable dress. It's pretty, and I'm an adult so I can do whatever I want, so I'll probably just be wearing it like a normal outfit. It's gorgeous and I feel like medieval nobility.

Makes a great princess fiona cosplay!
I love this! It’s multifunctional for dressing as a medieval character or as princess fiona from Shrek! It’s a very comfortable velvet material - stretchy too so it’s got a bit of give. It has a lovely shimmer/glitter in the velvet and it washes very well too!
